I think Michelle Obama could wear a garbage bag and look stunning. She is absolutely beautiful.
I honestly LOVE Laura Bush and think she's a class act. She looked fantastic at Bush's farewell address. I'd love to see what she wore today, too.

I think MIchele looks horrible. That dress does not a thing for her! I am not impressed at all!
As far as Laura Bush goes I think she always looks very classy and elegant!

the daughters look adorable
laura bush is trying to blend and not stand out which i think is appropriate. i dont live the suit but its appropriate for the occasion

I'm sure the color of Michelle's outfit was carefully chosen. (My MIL runs political campaigns and every detail of most outfits is insanely overanalyzed...)
I don't think it's horrible, but she has looked better. Honestly, if she would just stand up straight and tall, I think it would actually look that much better. She's slouching in these pictures, making the dress bunch up in the front.
I think it could be a really pretty outfit, without the green shoes. I don't get the green shoes...
I think Laura looks classy and put together as usual. The suit's a bit blah - I think it's the color. I'm sure she didn't want to wear a bright color, though, and overshadow the new first lady.
