It happened- secondary IF related
So last night I am in the bathroom, dealing with AF of course, and Ryan knocks on the door. I ask him what he wants and he says :
Mommy, can I have a brother?
So I reply in my typical sarcastic style:
Where would I get one of those?
And he says......
Can you make one in your belly like you made me?

the answer apparently is 5 years 2 1/2 months, as for what to say, I still dont know, not even sure what I said yesterday to make him change the subject

Awwww... My Ryan says the same thing all the time now - "Mommy, can we have a baby to play with?" "Mommy, can I have a baby brother?" "How about a baby sister?" It's so hard.... He will be 5 in May and this started within the last few months...

Im sorry. Your not alone in this, as you can see. I worry too about what to say when that time comes.
Its heartbreaking it has to come for any of us.
You could tell him the truth...that you were blessed and lucky to have "grown" him, but now it seems its taking a bit longer, but your trying hard.

That's honestly what I always tell Alex - even if she is only two and a half, I think, for me, it feels best to just explain it to her that way, that mommy really wants a baby too, but sometimes it can take a while, but we're trying as hard as we can.
