How long TTC: 3 yrs. Saw an RE after 1 year. Did testing, took a vacation, relaxed (you know all the things they tell you to do and you'll magically get pregnant). Started treatment the following year.

I spent from July to Oct, trying to produce follicles for IUI. After many rounds of clomid, in many cycles. (3 rounds per cycle) They switched me to injectables. I then had too many for IUI so last minute switch to IVF.
Have done 1 fresh cycle and 2 frozen so far. Tries 1 and 3 were positive and then not and try 2 just didn't take.

I have been posting for the last month and this forum is wonderful! A beautiful support system.

Jan 2011-2 failed clomid,
1 month off,
diagnosed with high NK- prednisone and femara natural cycle failed.
May 2011: femara natural with prednisone, intralipids and metnex and baby aspirin for minor clotting issue. (fingers crossed)

Methods: Did 5 injectible IUI cycles - all BFN. Currently in my first IVF cycle.

Other children: DD 16 months old, conceived via IUI #6, injectibles. Had 2 losses - 1 at 6 weeks and one at almost 9 weeks (identical twins). Both missed miscarriages.

Hi Ladies,

My name is Melissa. My husband and I have been trying to get pregnant for 8 months. It has been 8 very long months. There were a few times my period was late and I swore I was prego, and once agian I wasn't and each time it was devestating. I recently got laid off from work which just crushed me, bc I loved it. DH and I decided I shouldn't get a job right away since I am collecting unemployment I could get pregnant any month. Anyway since i Have free time now i went to my gyno and she had me go for a blood test - turns out there is an issue with my thyroid and had to go for more blood work today. I also had to bring DH's sperm sample for testing, and his counts are also low nad he has to see a specialist. I have to wait for my period to get a sonogram to check me out as well. I really beleived that everything was going to be fine and it was just taking us a little longer to get prego. I have now become very depressed and emotional. It is just devastating and feel like I have lost my strenth, and the hope I once had especially when like im sure many of you girls everyone around me is getting prego. If you girls can offer me any advice I would much appreciate it. Thanks so much look foward to talking to all of you.
