International calls

Which service do you use? I use verizon which is way to much. I have to find a cheap rate to call Ireland.

It's 4 cents a minute to call Ireland.

You have to dial a million numbers (hotline, then pin and then number you are calling), but it's really cheap and the connections are good.

I used to use bigzoo.com to call my DH when I was living in New York, but it folded. Pingo is the equivalent as far as we can tell.

Since we only make a few every so often I resort to using calling cards. I get the MCI ones from Costco and use them. Int'l calls are soooo expensive.

we have At & T and for 2 phones, ( we have an office line and home line in the house) local service and interntaional calls we pay 100!!!

we love it, we had to get it b/c I travel with my mom a lot and DH and I talk a lot and for hours when Im away.

oh and for the international calls it cost us 0- b/c of the plan.

You can use Skype --- it's telephone via internet and it's free. I use if for business (about 3 hours per day on international calls) and personal reasons -- my brother who lives in Bosnia told me about it. If the person you call has it also it is totally free. Otherwise, it is super super cheap to call someones regular phone (I don't use it this way, all my contacts use Skype).
