My Bank calls me and...
informs me that I am late for the past 2 months on my Bank Credit Card...
....first off I have NEVER used my bank's credit card...
....it is my overdraft they are calling about...
...they ask why I haven't made a payment...I tell them that my records show I paid them on the 16th, and the payment is due on the 19th..but it is NOT showing on their records, BUT I can SEE it on my internet banking page...AND they charged me a late fee of $30...for being ON-TIME...and Now the person wants ME to CALL and fix the problem of the late fee ---
BUT THEY CALLED ME....it is me or is this just wacky??
THEN, last week I went to use a credit card, which I haven't used in about 4 months and it was declined...So I called the 1800 to inquire about this....they said I was $2 short on my payment and now they charged me a late fee on top of it and I can use my card until I pay the $2.....needless to say, I WORK for the BANK that is saying to pay the $2....And in order for the issue to be resolved they have to research my employment w/ them....which is fine--but that will take 7-10 days.
Stuff like this really annoy me!!!!
Thank you for letting me vent...so much for paying your bills on time and for working for a worldwide bank!

that sounds totally shady- are you sure it was the bank that called you and not some scam?

yes, they gave me phone numbers to call and they repeated all my personal info etc...I didn't give any info, etc....I took the numbers they gave me and will investigate on my own.

Good that you didn't give any personal information. There's a new scam right now where they tell you all your personal information and they said that they just want to make sure your card has not been lost or stolen and for you to give them the numbers on the back of your card. (3 numbers listed). They will even give you the correct number for your bank.
Once you give them that number, they can buy anything online with your card. I got this email at work about this awhile back and they said especially senior citizens are falling for this scam because they are giving very sensitive personal information which has been taken from identity theft. You should not even call the numbers they gave you. You should call your bank directly with the numbers that you have.
