I prefer microbrews, darker beers. I really like Saranac, especially the caramel beer and pumpkin ale. Also other brands that I can't think of that I try here and there. Honestly, a funky label or name, and a nice description of the beer are the big things that draw me in. If it sounds like an interesting flavor combination most likely I'll try it.

I'm a Heineken drinker... Now that they have the light I only drink those. I like the taste better than others.

I like Bass, Sam Adams and Petes Wiked Ale. I like the taste. I especially like their seasonal brews like Winter Brew, Oktoberfest, Summer Brew.
These are my choices as well, but throw in an occasional black and tan - Guiness and Harp.
I like them for the taste.

well, I don't really drink beer too often, but if I am going to drink beer I usually drink a Corona Lite with a Lime.
I drink Lite-- cause it's less calories-- that does not affect my perception of the brand.
I do however really love the brand image of Corona-- and that lazy, warm, sunny, vacationing feeling is what I want when I am drinking a Corona.
Other beers that I like or used to drink don't really do much advertising-- what attracts me to a lot of products and brands is something that feels that I have "discovered" it... I don't always like to do the popular thing, although personal taste always does prevail.
Let me know if you need any help with your class-- since I got 10 years of advertising under my belt..

Hard core Cider - Its strong and crisp and fruity. I like Fruity 
Corona with Lime- Like the lemonish taste ( see a pattern here?)
The light beers- When I need to cut the calories

a local brew called SweetWater Blue...it's made with blueberries.
I like it because it goes down smooth and doesn't leave that funky aftertaste
I also like Paulener Octoberfest or bud light
