IKEA - in Hicksville---please settle a dispute!
Okay--I could have SWORN that Ikea in hicksillve only opened up a few years ago.
However--they are "celebrating their birthday" and claim it has been there for 17 years!!!!!! has that IKEA really been there for 17 YEARS?

I was thinking the same but I do remember how excited my parents were when we didn't have to go to Jersey anymore...we got packed in the car to head to Nassau...so I guess it has been 17 years..wow.

Yup, sounds right. I remember I didn't know much about them until I started going to Hofstra in 1994, but all of the Nassau kids knew about it.
