If you drink soda ...
I dont drink soda, but if I do always regular bc of chemicals in diet soda and artificial sugars. But 99% of the time it's water for me. No iced tea, nothing.

Diet....once a week or so. I used to live on Diet Coke before I knew how bad it was, but I still love the taste, so I have one here and there.

Same. I try to stick to plain seltzer, if not water.

Diet coke..every day..most is 2 cans a day..i don't like the sugary taste of regular soda..I know all about the chemicals and how bad soda is, but it's my only vice

fun fact- you would need to drink 32 glasses of water to balance out the acidity in 1 glass of soda

I try to stay away from soda as much as possible but when I do drink it, it's regular all the way. Tastes better to me.

to answer my own ??
I do not drink much soda but when I do, I will ONLY drink regular. The artificial sweeteners scare the crapp out of me. I also hate the taste of artificial sweeteners and can taste them 200 miles away.

But.... Diet Coke is less acidic than orange juice, pineapple juice, Snapple Tea, CountryTime Lemonade, vinegar, etc....., so it could be worse....

I know this wasn't what the OP was asking for but you're right Beth! I used to have so many stomach problems when I used to drink soda alot. I was prescribed nexium at 20 years old because of acid from drinking soda all day long for years. When I stopped drinking it, the feeling of acid in my stomach went away. I also got kidney stones from predominantly drinking soda & never water.

Rarely but if I do it's regular. I completely stay away from artificial sweeteners. Sometimes I just crave it with certain meals- like pizza.

Regular only few times a year.
I drink it if I have a bad headache I can't get rid of with meds or my stomach is really upset.
or
if water is not available.
Otherwise it's water for me.

Diet soda...until 3 weeks ago, I drank it every day, multiple times a day. Started drinking diet in college to save calories but then I just preferred the taste of diet over regular.
Going without hasn't been easy but I know I shouldn't be drinking it.

I totally eliminated soda to try to lose weight a few years ago...did nothing.
I drink it maybe once a month or once every other month now--it's diet if I do.

Regular. And usually it is "mexican" coke or some other cane sugar soda. Aspertame is poison and high fructose corn syrup is no better IMO

Diet. I don't drink calories.
I LOVE diet soda.
I know drinking water is better and i do drink quite a bit of water, but the artificial sweeteners aren't necessarily bad for you. I actually take Phenylalanine as a vitamin prescribed by my neurologist
