I will say that I think it's a little unfair of you to have done things for your son that you are now unwilling to do with your daughter. If ever my parents chose to do for me and not my sister there would always be resentment and hurt, even if it happened before I knew what was going on. I don't mean to put you down, but seriously think about the consequences your actions now will have on your daughter in the future.
crashing, but as a sibling, i have to agree-if i knew my parents threw my sister a big 1st bday, and then didn't do so for me, i'd be very hurt
