Yeah this is pretty much me.
After I wrote mine about the hotel room/spa- I was like- who am I kidding?
I'd be furiously checking my emails all damn day!

I would head to the beach.
By myself.
A thermos of coffee, a raisin bagel, some dark chocolate, and a good book.
Maybe another thermos with a little red wine in it.
To go with the dark chocolate of course.
Solitude.
That is all I need to recharge.

if you could run away for a day...
I did do this a few years back. Went to the movies and then spent the afternoon drinking coffee and reading at Barnes & Nobles. It was heaven!

Probably a hotel where I could sleep as much as I want, watch bad tv/movies and order room service.
Also maybe close to some outlets so I could go out for a bit if I was "getting bored" with the other stuff.

I'd rent a hotel room for the day. Turn off my cell and emails and not speak to a soul. A nice a quiet day of reading, watching tv and room service.
Oh I like this one. A nice luxry hotel with a pool and a spa.
Lay by the pool, get a great massage, facial, mani/pedi.
Room service.
Whirlpool bath.
Reading.
Nap
Ahhhhh
Maybe I need more than one day!
This is my idea of heaven for a day!

Is it bad that if I played hooky I'd want to spend it with my DH and son? Maybe hit up the zoo or something on our eternal fun "to do" list.
If I had to do a day alone though shopping and a beach walk sound good. I would be lonely though.
