I received my NETI POT today!!!
After seeing Dr. Oz on Oprah talk about the great results you can get from using a Neti pot I decided to buy one and try it out. I have BAD sinus symptoms and allergies almost all year long and find myself taking sudafed a lot just to get through a day.
Today, especially, I was in a CLOUD all day but didn't take a sudafed knowing my Neti pot was going to be delivered! I just used it and WOW! everything is instantly clearer and sharper - even DH gave it a whirl and said it made his head feel so much more 'open' - it is great!
Just thought I'd share - anyone with allergies or sinus probs should definitely give it a try!! It is great for post-nasal drip, colds, dry air and rhinitis of pregnancy also!

I never heard of it, Is it a nasal spray or a pill? Can you take this with other medicine or is there interactions... The reason why i'm asking is because i would like to try this and i'm on synthroid and phenobarital and i dont want to have side effects from it...Thanks.

Its actually a small ceramic pot you use to flush Saline through your nasal passages. So no medication interactions because its not a med.

It feels like when you dive in the pool - that is what it feels like when you put the stuff in there. Doesn't hurt.

I bought the exact neti pot they had on oprah from netipot.org. it has a signature lotus flower on the side. Neti pot starter kit is $35.00 change it comes with the neti pot 10 oz. salt jar and zinc drops.
And I did it right after the episode ran. So basically I have been using it for the past couple of months and it has saved me.
I was actually hospitalized back in the beginning of december because I was taking a bunch of stuff for my sinus problems. AFter I got out I had to stop everything, my uncle uses neti pot and he reccommended it and I was hesitant.
After I saw the Dr. Oz episode and after hearing the two guests saying after a year of using the neti pot they hadn't needed any cold or sinus products I figured ok lets try it. IT is literally a GODSEND!!!! I also buy the 10 oz. salt jar from netipot.org.

I am so into the Neti Pot. I think I have everyone at work hooked! It's amazing for both sinus and allergies. I got mine at Walgreens and it was $10.

My mom saw this on Oprah and ordered it because she gets terrible sinus headaches. She said it works great.
The pics do look a little gross  but she said it just feels like you got water up your nose.

I use an electic nasal irrigation system instead of the neti pot. Does the same exact thing but it runs the solution through a little longer. I love it.

I know what you mean it took me awhile to work up the nerve to use mine. It feels weird while you're doing it but oh what a great feeling afterwards!

Kind of like when you dive into a pool - like that - just get a lil water in your nose.
Doesn't hurt - just feels kinda weird for a sec.

i use this instead it is very easy to use and not as weird as using the pot and you can buy it in almost any drug store

Wait, I'm confused about when you use this. When you're stuffed up and can't breathe? Or all the time, as a preventative? It sounds SO GROSS to use it when you're all stuffy but I have such bad allergies, I'll try anything.
