this is terrible!! I just wonder why would they kill the mother and both daughters so brutally and not the husband? it' s so strange that they targeted them just following them out of the super market,
The girls technically died of smoke inhalation from the fire they started.
I would assume they thought the same would have happened to the father. They weren't aware that he got out.
terrible terrible story.
its like a criminal minds episode.

it is such a sad story. it was on the today show this am and I was in tears hearing hte phone calls and hearing that they brought the mom hope, raped her and then killed her.
the death penalty isn't even good enough for them
I truly believe that in cases like this they should die by the death they caused on others, in this case burning. And for every additional person they should be revived and killed again

They don't need to be killed----just continuously tortured with no end in sight.
Sick, sick people. I have a hard time wrapping my mind around people like this.

Sick, sick people. I have a hard time wrapping my mind around people like this.
they won't be treated very well in prision. Especially since they raped the mother and possibly the 2 little girls.

They saw them leave the supermarket in a nice car, thought they would be a good target for robbery. So they followed them back to their home.
One of the sickos stayed at the house and held the two girls hostage while the other took the poor Mom to the bank. They beat the doctor so severely and threw him in the basement, think they thought he was dead. But he regained consciousness and was able to escape during the fire.
I felt really bad for the doctor, after all he endured, there were many who pegged him as being involved somehow, because he was the sole survivor. The poor guy had been through enough without needing to defend himself
I can't even wrap my mind around why they would do what they did to these poor people.

this whiole thing sickens me. The poor husband/father. having to go through that and now having to rehash everything to court. I hope the ones that did this get what they deserve.

I want to f*cking rage on these two animals. I would personally watch them fry. How absolutely disgusting and heartwrenching. I cannot imagine how the father feels to have lost his whole family in this tragedy....were the two men high on drugs? I can't imagine anybody can be so absolutely horrible without being under the influence...

This is the first time Im hearing this story and I feel physically ill. I cant imagine the terror that the mom and girls went through that night. Just awful

This story has haunted me since I first read about it. Its one of those stories that will stick with me for a long long time and it scares and upsets me
