My Father had two daughters with his first wife.

My parents had three children: Me, my brother 18 months later and my sister 3 years after him.


I liked being the oldest.

My parents had 3 children. I am the oldest, my sister was born 18 months later, and my brother was born 18 months after that.

I like being the oldest most of the time. I am consequently the most responsible though and I worry about having to take care of my sister and brother when we are older. Neither really act their age, they still live at home, and seem to be making no effort to leave (at ages 25 and 24).

I am one of 5 kids.

The first two were from my dad's 1st marriage. Their mom is and always was nonexistant so my mom raised them from toddlerhood and I consider them my full brothers and sisters. They treat my mom as if she is their biological mom, and she treats them that way as well.

I was the 4th, and the youngest for 10 years.

When I was little I was always the favorite, got spoiled, had special little day excursions with Daddy, etc. We didn't have any money, but I was spoiled with attention, etc.

It was very hard when my sister came when I was 10. I was so jealous. However, now I am so close to her and we get along great.

It makes me not want to have too big of a gap though, between my 1st and 2nd child. I don't want my 1st to get too used to being the only one before I have my 2nd.

My parents have two girls. We are 22 months apart in age. I was supposed to be an only child, but my parents claim they don't remember when my sister could have been conceived

I don't remember life without my sister and there are times when she is my best friend and there are times when I want to push her out a window, but on the important things we agree and see eye to eye on.

my parents had 3 girls, I am the oldest, and happy about that! my middle sister is 3.5 yrs younger than me and the youngest one is 8.5 yrs younger than me.

pros: out of the 3 of us, I was the only one that had my own bedroom

cons: I had to "pave the way". ie: I had a curfew but by the time my sisters were at the age I was, they could go out and stay out as late as they wanted.

I am the oldest. 3 years later my sister was born and 3 years after that. my brother was born.

Pro's and con's of amount
i love being from a big family - dh is the youngest of five and it is really nice on the holidays and other get togethers

my parents have 2 kids- my sister and i.
i'm the oldest, and we're just over 2 years apart.

her 25 (todays her birtday actually!)

i like being the oldest, and i think growing up i was the more "straight and narrow" responsible one, while she was a little more rebellious.
we were close growing up, and still are.... and i think 2 years apart was great. we were close enough in age that we could play together and relate to each other, but not TOO close in age.....

I was an oops, but a pleasant oops .

I love where I am positioned. I am the baby...I didn't have any competition..and came in a time of my parents life where finances were probably easier, and they were more patient.

Pros-I'm the baby, gotta love me ..lol. I just liked it.

Cons-My brother and sister have many memories I'm not a part of.

I am, however, very close to my brother and sister, and think my parents did a great job on all of us.

Just me! I didn't mind. I had a lot of cousins & friends to keep me busy.

My mom had just me (complications with endometriosis)... My dad and my sister and I... we are 9 years apart.

Two. Me and my sister.

I am the oldest and I love (and always have) being the older sister. We always got along really well since we are only 2 1/2 years apart and were always treated equal.

I am the first born...then four yrs. later came my sister, Ashley.

We fought like cats and dogs as kids. And now we are best friends.

I am the oldest, however brother passed away when he was 16 and I was 19.

He got away with a lot more, but I also think thats cause he was a boy. I loved having a brother and miss it a lot.

I wouldn't want any of my kids to be lonely so I would have 2-3 kids.

Well, so you see...

My mom and dad had me.

my dad had 2 more (6 and 8 1/2 years younger). - I saw them during the summer.

My mom remarried, and he had a son who's 2 1/2 years older than me (visited every other weekend).

I kind of see myself as the oldest, but wish I were closer in age to my younger siblings. I get along fine w/ my younger brother, but I feel at this point I'm just so far removed from where my nearly 16 year old sister is... it's hard to relate to her.

3 kids and I was the oldest!! I cant imagine life without my 2 brothers. The youngest one really took everyone for a loop because me and the 2nd were so goodie goodie. It brought fun!!

My mom and dad had me and my sister...I am 31, she is 32

My dad then got remarried and I have a 12 year old brother and an 8 year old sister
