How long do you keep your grocery shopping receipts?
We put groceries on the c/c, along iwth everything else. I save all of our receipts but what need would it serve to save these? At least with clothing, or books or anything else, it is good for warranties or returns.

Keep em for a couple days - til I at least open all the products I bought.
If something is bad, you bet I'm switching it for a fresh product, or getting my $ back.

That's what I was wondering. I guess it makes sense like what Shorty said, but I've heard some people keep them for tax purposes.

me too, and also nothing burns me more than buying something only because its on sale and get home to find out they charged you the regular price  I try to watch the display but they go so fast, and while bagging and watching the baby its impossible.
most places you can just bring your receipt back and they will give you $ difference.

That makes sense, but I know I wouldn't go to the store just to get a refund of $1.29. I try to scan that as I leave the store. But you have a really good point.,

I check my receipt before I walk out of the store and if its incorrect I go right to customer service and get my money back.
I usually keep the receipt for a few days for no reason really, and then throw it out.

If I charge it, I keep it for a few days til its in our 'records" that we took $$ out of checking..
If cash, I toss it right away!

I guess I am the freak here 
If I charge it, I keep the receipts until I get my CC statement and check the amounts.
If I pay cash, I record all the $ I spend for the month. Once I record it, I toss the receipt.
