Grocery Shopping
How often do you go... I go pretty much every time I make a real meal (with meat in it) DH has this thing and refuses to freeze meat, so we have to go all the time...
I went yesterday and today...

DH and I go every Sunday, and buy all the meat for the week. Today we bought 10 lbs of chicken ! because it was on sale and we're having people over for dinner.
I always wind up making little trips during the week though. We usually run out of bananas or milk during the week.

I do a big shopping every 2 weeks when DH gets paid....I'll stop in between for dog food, milk, oj, whatever we need.
I freeze meat all the time....there is absolutely nothing wrong with it...especially when it's on sale.

i agree with you - i dont get it, he thinks it loses flavor or something (I personally can't tell the difference if there is any difference I dont think it is worth the aggrivation).

I go once a week only. I get everything for the week in that trip except for diapers and wipes which is a once a month trip to Costco.

I go 2-3 times a week. I only buy perishables (fruit and salad) in small quantities, and I try to eat it daily, so I have to go often.

i hate shopping we bought a big freezer to put in the basement - i only go when we run out of food - maybe 1 - 2 times a month

We do one BIG shopping trip a month and then stop off when necessary for milk, eggs and stuff like that when we need it. I get paid once a month so when the money rolls in, we shop!!!

I tend to go after school about once a week. I make a list and stick to it. I freeze meat, buy stuff of sale, and really try to use what we have. Someties I get really overzealous with sales and spend like $90 on groceries. I have to go lighter on my shopping. We don't need soup, pasta sauce or cleaning supplies for awhile.

My DH will not eat frozen mean either ( or leftovers )
So I do one big shop a month and buy everything but meat, and then every other week I do a small shop for little things.
Meat and Milk we go shopping for as needed

I wish I could get out that early. I LOVE it in the store. There is only a few people shopping and it is really relaxing!!
I go on Sundays but usually don't get out of my house until 10am.

major shopping? about once a month. i HATE grocery shopping. i buy all the meat from omaha steaks and make sure to stock pile the staple products and ingredients. i do small shopping runs every other week for dairy products, vegetables and cold cuts.

Well, we have a supermarket literally right across the street, so I'm always walking over and buying things. I usually go about 2 or 3 times a week.
