I went off birth control at the end of august. I got pregnant a few weeks after. We were shocked! so happy.

I have PCOS and was told by an RE and two OB's I wouldn't (or would have great difficulty) getting pregnant on my own and would have a very hard time - but both DD and DC#2 were conceived on the 1st month of trying. DD I was using Metformin though- DH and I were  both times - we expected to need to see an RE.

It was about 8 cycles (mine are short).

Even with PCOS it happened very quickly. We started trying in December and we got pregnant in February. Basically it was the first time around because I only ovulated once in that time period.

I was on the pill missed a few days ann poof positive pregnancy test.

We weren't even really trying when it happened. You just never know. I thought it would take a long time, but we got lucky.

It took DH and I around 6-7 months. Stress does play a major role on delaying things and having irregular periods as well

We started trying on our honeymoon in 2006, but when I wasn't getting pregnant, we went to a RE in Oct. 2007. After 2 unsuccessful IUI's and surgery for my issues, we did another IUI in April and got pregnant.
