how do you dress a newborn in air conditioning?
and what temp do you set it at? thanks so much!

I believe it's supposed to be set to between 68-70 degrees.
As far as dressing, I would put on a long sleeve onesie with soft pants or a sleep n'play.

They're supposed to be dressed in one layer more than you (since they have very little fat on their bodies). If it was hot enough out for me to wear shorts, I'd dress them in a onesie. For airconditioning, a oneside & a blanket.
I forgot what my pediatrician said but I want to say 72??

we keep our house at 78 during the day and 76 at night to sleep. Alyson is a hot baby so she's been sleeping in a onesie since Feb. and I put her in one layer of clothing (same as me)

I've been keeping Ava in a side-snap onesie, long-sleeve feety pajamas, a hat, mittens and a receiving blanket. She looks like she's bundled up for an Alaskan outting! However, she gets very cold, very easily. I think every baby is different.

I used to put Nate in a sleep sack or the long sleeved gowns w/the elastic at the bottom. I always put a onsie under them.

IMO- there was no place colder then the hospital. So I think they are used to a bit of the cold (And all they wear there are onsies & a blanket.)

Andrew is a cold baby so I put him in a sleep n' play at night sometimes even with a blanket.

I have my AC in my bedroom on set to about 70 and the door is open to let the air go into his room. He is just in a onesie but he is still swaddled in that damn miracle blanket (just his torso, he is way too long for his legs to fit) so i dont want him to overheat in it, so that is why he is just in a onesie.
