me too its so hot i cant take it
and we cant wear sleeveless shirts unless we have a sweater or something over us to cover our shoulders..
oh and get this if we wear a skirt we have to wear stockings ughhhhhhh never!!! too hot

Actually, a lot of systems even when working are having a hard time keeping up.
We have brand new CAC in our house and despute it running all day yesterday, set at 78 degrees, there were parts of the house (kitchen) that are harder to keep cool and I didn't cook.
It depends upon how old the building's system is and the layout of the offices.

Me too...I would leave if there was no ac.
It does feel like they turned it down a bit. I am usually cool, but today just comfortable.

That is OUTRAGEOUS! people are dropping dead in this heat.
if your job cannot provide a/c, they should close, IMO
they even cancelled summer school in some areas. it's just TOO dangerous!

I ended up suffering from heat exhaustion today and left work early and passed out when I got home. I told my boss that if the air is not on toorrow I willl do my work and then I am out of there. I also tld him they better not dock my any hours for this. I am salary but sometimes they act like A$$es so you never know what they will do.
