It was certainly her most human, authentic speech of the entire campaign.
So many young people in my family, college kids with huge loans, or young people unemployed or underemployed donated money to her massive campaign of which she self funded zero. Some of these kids actually donated even more to Bernie first, and we all know hillarys camp's cheated him out of the nomination. It sure would be nice if she offered some of those smaller donations back to the people that
really need the money they gave her. If she can afford 2 million dollars for her daughters wedding she can afford to give a couple of million in $10-$20 donations back. Now that would be remarkable but it won't happen.
You bring up something that I thought of too. It really is kind of gross on all sides of this that working class poor give so much money to these nominees and then if they lose it's gone forever.
Meanwhile, the nominees are normally already wealthy and rich and set for life… And they will be just fine after this.
It's kind of even gross that anyone would even ask for donations and stuff ( especially from the working class) even though I understand that's what is typically the norm.
It's also really disgusting how much money is spent during the campaign cycle on all sides when we have people who are homeless and without food.

Also, bunch of Hillary supporters have commented that they don't care that she didn't say thank you or whatever crap you're making a big deal about, so WHY do YOU care?

Her speech was well written. Some say there was symbolism with her purple colors she chose..meaning red and blue make purple, and they can come together....
Thank you, Diane. Thank you for being able to say something good about HRC. That speech was incredible and it really moved me. I appreciate you finding some good in it, as someone who most certainly did not support her. And while I didn't quote your entire post, I'm with you in not supporting the protesters. Protesting this election is wrong. He won, she lost. Let's focus our energy on the future now.

Please, if the tables were turned and Trump did what Hillary did, you guys wouldn't be sympathetic.
You always find a way to justify your bad behavior. It's weak and it is part of the problem in this country. If Trump did what she did - because ROMNEY did what she did btw - I certainly wouldn't be criticizing him.
If he didn't CONCEDE, like he threatened not to (words that fell from HIS MOUTH on national television), then I would have torn him to shreds and he would have deserved it. If he conceded gracefully like SHE DID, I would not have said a word.
She conceded to him at 3am. She didn't have to speak to ME, one of her supporters, at 3am when I was asleep. I appreciated her speaking to me in the morning when I was awake.

It seems these days that no matter how someone handles a situation, people go out of their way to find fault with it.
To me, we are facing far bigger issues than the timing of a concession speech.

I will add this though. Her speech was great. A lot of great messages in there. Too bad some of you don't actually listen to her words and accept your new president.
I agree.I am a trump supporter but I thought her speech was beautiful said and you could see her emotion in it. She meant every word including ACCEPTING our new president.
