Hey everyone - quick hello from the sunny state - and a TMI question re:constipation
Hey folks - we are having a great time, and boy oh boy Cailen is really turning into that spirit monster I was posting about last week
OK - heres the TMI part - the poor kid is sooooo constipated - he has made these hard little "meatballs" as DH and I refer to them  And he keeps pushing and straining and looking at me like "Help me mommy" - and I'm like - look kid, you're on your own with this one 
I've given him fresh fruit (peaches - no bananas) and eased up on the rice cereal and he is eating everything else not nailed down - plus he is drinking water - what else?

Can you give him some pureed prunes?
Peas.
Pears.
Refried beans.
Can you get a small container of prune juice and put a little bit in his water?
He may have gotten a bit dehydrated from the plane ride. Even if he drank his normal amount of fluids flying is so drying it was probably enough to dry him out a bit.

Pears really help, or white grape juice. Prunes will do the trick, but it can be really risky.

Just go out on the street and stop the first 85 year old you see. I'm sure he/she will help you out
Apparently, the beginning stage of life and the final stage of life share some of the same challenges
