My friend had her bridal shower at Fisherman's Catch (I think that is the name). Anyway, I'm not sure how many people they can accommodate but I thought it was nice. The room she had it in had these huge windows looking out to towards the water. There was also a small outdoor area too.

my friends got married there in Point Lookout. they had around 50 people, but there was a lot of room.

sorry i read earlier post.

i would definitely recommend timber point. queens county farm.

Congratulations!! I really like the Milleridge cottage. I also like the wineries but the cost may be $$$.
I got married at Westbury manor and while it is a catering hall the gardens are beautiful. It
Might be worth taking a look- they were very accommodating with handicap access.

I'm going to look at the atrium at milleridge tomorrow.

i got married at westbury manor the first time so thats DEFINITELY out! LOL

YES I can TOTALLY understand that!!

Help me pick a wedding venue!

Sea Cliff Manor (formerly San Souci) is beautiful!! I so wanted to get married there but we had too many. 90 guests is perfect!
It overlooks the water too with large windows.

ETA: Congrats!!!!

Bella verde has a lot of what your looking for
DeSeversky mansion
the View
I like that room at the Fox Hollow that others posted about-the only thing, I thought the dance floor was small.
Are you looking in Nassau or Suffolk County--or it doesn't matter??

Help me pick a wedding venue!

Blue in Bayport is the restaurant vibe your looking for an they have an outdoor area

I got married at Smithtown Landing- food was awesome and they were so inexpensive (we paid for everything ourselves)

Mill Pond Country Club..all one level, large outdoor areas overlooking golf course...very good food and service.

and Congrats!!!

Sunken Meadow Pavilion

Oh yeah, forgot about this place. Some friends got married there and it was beautiful. Ceremony was on the beach, and no catering hall feel at all. I think they had about 100 people too..definitely check it out. Its a Lessings property.

Help me pick a wedding venue!

I know its a typical catering hall but I went o a wedding at the North Ritz club over the summer and I have to say it was one of the best weddings I have been to in a long time. Service was amazing and food was some of the best I have had.

Help me pick a wedding venue!

Congratulations... Definitely DEFINITELY Check out Riviera in Massapequa!!!! That's where we had our wedding, out door ceremony on the water (or you can do indoor by the fireplace) and the ENTIRE BACK WALL IS A WINDOW overlooking the bay... it was INCREDIBLE... our wedding was mid-August.

ETA: we had a total of 135 people and that was about all the venue could hold... 90 will be PERFECT in their dining room. It was outrageous! Best. Wedding. Ever.... and I'm not just saying that because it was ours (lol), but every one of our guests came up and told us... and very inexpensive.

Try the Stewart Manor Country Club. It's a smaller catering hall in Stewart Manor ( Next to Floral Park) . I looked at it when I was looking for my (almost) wedding, and it was very nice.

This is probably a little far for you but Miller Place Surf Club but it fits what you are looking for.

Congrats!!! That's wonderful news!!!

There is Miller Place Inn and Miller Beach Surf Club! I just got married at Miller Beach Surf Club in Oct. Second marriage for me, first for DH and like you, we didn't want a Catering hall type of feeling. The room only holds 120 max..we invited 90 and 72 attended. It was PERFECT! Sat. or Sun. evenings are $75PP before tax and gratuity. That includes open bar and six passed hors d’œuvres for the whole hour a bridal attendant and Maitre D. Then pasta, salad, main entree (choice of 3) and then cake/coffee
There is a large back patio that has some steps but that is not the only way to get to the back ceremoney site. You can simply walk around the side. There are no front steps..you just walk right into the hall otherwise. I have some pics in my album!

Help me pick a wedding venue!

Oh there's Stuart Manor Country Club, it's honestly very nice, we had checked it out, it was a little too small for us, but for 90 people I'm sure it would be the right size... It definitely has a more casual vibe than a lot of the typical Wedding halls.

Have you tried Bridgeview Yacht Club? They have 2 rooms, not sure what their minimum is.

Yes, Bridgeview Yacht club is also really nice! However, during the high season (if I remember correctly from 2011) they do have a minimum and I think for a Sat night it's almost 150... Also, I don't think they have 2 rooms anymore, I think it's just the 1 room and that they converted that upstairs second room to the "bridal suite".

Since you are going to be in the huntington area check out Mill Pond in Centerport. Beautiful scenery and delicious food. The Bonwitt In Commack is worth looking into too.

Help me pick a wedding venue!

I know I saw someone mention West Sayville Country Club. I was married there in 2010 and can not say enough wonderful things about the place. We had about 90 people at our wedding. Very reasonably priced.

Not sure if anyone mentioned it already. Beach Club Estate in Ronkonkoma

Very reasonably prices. Has a nice outdoor area for the cocktail hour and the room overlooks the lake.

A friends daughter got married here a few years ago and they had no complaints.

Food was delicious too.
