I don't color my hair at all anymore I have to tell you I love the freedom. I also don't mind my orig. color. If I really need some jazz I get some of the Aveda shampoos that color and they add some life in whatever color direction I'm feeling like.

I had hightlight for years (blonde) and changed about a year ago to dark brown. I always thought I liked my hair better with hightlights but now I look at pics and feel the opposite now..I don't think I would ever go back to highlights. Plus-its much cheaper without the highlights
