Had my baby boy 9 weeks early
As most of you know I had complications last week with my blood pressure which turned into preeclampsia. Thursday night into Friday my pressures were extremely high all night long. They moved me back to labor and delivery for monitoring. They tried to bring my pressure down but nothing was working so they made the decision to do an emergency c-section on Friday morning. My son Nicholas Paul was born at 8:28am on Friday March 2nd. He was 2lbs 15oz. 16in long. He's in the nicu now but doing very well. He is basically breathing on his own with just a little help from a cpap that's just giving him a little extra oxygen. He's doing really well though. I'm hanging in there. My pressure has come down but I'm still on blood pressure meds. I'm trying to pump but not getting too much now so were continuing to try and get my milk going. I should b going home tomorrow but Nicholas will stay for probably ar least another 4 weeks if not longer. All the nurses and staff here ar north shore manhasset are amazing! It's an excellent hospital and I couldn't ask for more. Just wanted to update everyone! Thanks for everything!

Same thing happened to me 2 years ago. I delivered by emergency c/s 8 weeks early. My DS weighed just a few ounces more than yours did. He stayed in the NICU for a month and came home at 4lbs 5oz. He is turning 2 tomorrow and is a strapping, happy, and healthy boy. I wish the same for your new love!
