Going to a new mall
we're going to see my aunt in rockland county. we're all going shoppig. we're going to the palisades mall. its every girls dream mall the stores, OMG!!!! some of the stores are in the mall 2x's. can't wait to see what this mall is about

I bet a lot of people get confused about where they are in the mall. "I know we parked near the Gap. Oh god, the car was stolen."

from what i gather, the mall is huge. huge like the mall of america. bjs, best buy and home depot is in the mall. i think since its so huge that's why they duplicated some of the stores

I absolutley LOVE this mall. I think it's 4 floors. We go once a year and do some of our Christmas shopping there.
They have a beautiful carousel (that we put DS on), sooo many restaurants, an IMAX theater, an ice skating rink and even think bowling (not sure).
Dave & Busters is there as well.
Love it!
If you like to shop, you'll be in heaven. LOL. Have fun.

I haven't been in awhile, but last time I was there, that mall was just BIG but filled with a lot of vacant stores. Perhaps that's changed?

Normally, I would love to visit a mall like that, but I would easily get overwhelmed & not get any shopping done. That is why I would only go to a place like that just to go, and if I see anything I love, I'll buy it. If I had something specific in mind, I think I would go stir crazy.

Don't laugh - that happened to me one time at the Pentagon City Mall in Washington D.C. I called my husband screaming and crying the car was stolen but it turned out I was on the wrong floor of the parking garage. It took security to help me find my car and realize this!

I've lost my car at the Garden State Plaza - it was embarrasing because people were following me around trying to get my spot at the time.
I live right near the Palisades Center - I was there this morning!
Most of the stores are full now - they put a lot of new restaurants on the top floor by the movie theaters and the ice skating rink.
The only store I think they have multiples of is Bath and Body Works (one on each of the first three floors where the stores are)- oh and now I think they have two Starbucks.
It does get overwhelming though - and the parking lot gets really crowded! Especially on Sunday when the malls in Bergen County, NJ are closed!
It's sad though - there's another mall right down the road and so many of those stores are empty!!!

I just passed this mall for the first time today...Its Ginormous!!! I was in awe, until the guy behind me started flashing his brights because I slowed to under 90 mph

we were a little disappointed. let me first say that we liked the stores that we went into and where we had dinner. we at at stir fry. going passed there, the mall looks beautiful. inside, it looks like a warehouse. we thought the inside would look different.
one store we liked, they had a robot store. its just like build a bear
