Has anyone been to the new cheese cake factory in smithhaven mall?
I have never eaten at this place and apparently the new one is open
Is it good?

yeah it opened recently
we went by and it was MOBBED
so we ate at ruby tuesday's-- my friend is the manager there- it was delicious  but i have eaten at the other cheesecake factory location- it's pretty good. i mean, it's pricey and the food is pretty common like any other chain restaurant so i don't go out of my way to go there- they are known for their desserts but since i don't like cheesecake that does not do much for me. for some reason, some people rave about it. at the other location i had to wait two hours and the food, again, was just OK but it was expensive- so to me it's not a place i go out of my way to go to... we attempted the new location b/c it's new and near us but they were so busy. maybe when the holidays die down a bit.

love cheese cake factories...my favorite is the thai chicken pasta and portabello mushroom burgers...their menu is super long, and THEN there's the cheesecake menu, over 50!

I like the food. its pretty good. not great, but good - i LOVE the selection - they have so much on the menu.
THe one in the source is always packed.
