Freaking out!

I just got a very very faint positive on a home pregnancy test. I am due to get AF on Thursday so in theory I should be about 10-12 dpo..d. After my last two positives turning into miscarriages I am so nervous! Need to test in the AM to see if I have a darker line.

Re: Freaking out!

Okay so it's not great news. My levels are only 10 HCG and 6.something progesterone. They are putting me on a progesterone supplement and re-testing in 2 days...

please, someone, somewhere tell me that you had numbers this low and that it worked out. I had a faint positive right before I left for the bloodwork that wasn't lighter than the previous tests so I'm hoping I just had a very sensitive test and that it's super early. I'm due for AF today but it's entirely possible, in fact likely, that I ovulated around day 16-17 vs 14 of my cycle so there's still a chance.

I don't want to be having my third miscarriage right now...

Freaking out!

I'm sorry, but the only time my HCG was that low (I think it was 12) was with my chemical, but I was more than 12 dpo (or so I thought). With my DS, my first beta was at 58 and prog was 18 or something like that. What kind of tests are you using? It's *possible* that they are picking up the very very low hcg and you just o'ed later and implanted late. It's more important to see what happens with subsequent betas.

At 10dpo if you tested with FRER you could get a BFP. They measure HCG as low as 6. If that's when you went for Beta 10 days that would make sense and not necessarily mean a loss. You just went in too soon.

When I got a BFP it was 5dp5dt/10dpo. On the morning of 6dp5dt it was negative but that was with a different test ( ept) I retested with FRER and again BFP. I didn't have a beta until 9dp5dt/14dpo which was only 61 which would be right since HCG doubles every 48 hours.

Thanks ladies! I'm thinking and hoping I just found out wayyy early because my numbers on the repeat beta doubled! Hoping for a good result at my follow-up beta tomorrow (they are going to keep doing them every 48 hrs for now I think).
