First time I have actually heard dh be dissapointed

I am 11dpo and crampy. I told DH I was crampy and I could hear it in his voice that he was disappointed too. AF will be coming on Tues or Wed. Onto official month 3. I know its not over till AF shows, but I know my body. Bleh. This month I was really relaxed too so I was hoping but it wasnt in the cards.

I just called into Aflac to get a quote as well so we might me in the same boat as you. Would you mind telling me what the monthly premium is or it based on age, etc.

Were you able to talk to someone? It all goes by how much you make a year and what wait period you want. I have the list with me if you want to FM for more info.

Can someone explain how Aflac helps on maternity leave? I was planning on getting the cancer insurance at some point, but I didn't realize it would help on leave.

From my understanding they pay you 4-6 weeks reg birth and 6-8 for CS. Im taking out disability and hospital so they will pay me for hospital time 2-4 days and the disabilty you get while out of work on top of regular disability. From what the salesman said to me, if he is right, I will get @ 4,200-4,500 with both plans and also getting a CS. I dont know how right he is about the money but, I will get something.

Is this on top of your maternity leave pay. I get to use 6 weeks worth of sick days to get my regular pay with my job. Would this be in addition or just if you don't have that with your current job?

At my job I only get disability, so you are lucky but, yes this is on top of all that. Check with your job, do they offer it?

Thanks! I don't think my job has it. I guess they would know that though. I just put my info on their website for someone to call me. I'm not waiting anymore though. Uhhh, there's been so many things to hold us back. It's kind of ridiculous that it's 10 months. If you're not pregnant when you sign up that should be all that matters.

Re: First time I have actually heard dh be dissapointed

I just have to say the month I found out I was PG with DS,I was so crampy starting around 8 DPO. I swore AF was coming. My cramps where so strong at times and I didn't stop having cramps until at least 15 weeks PG. I swore I wasn't pregnant, and I was so wrong. Good Luck!!!
