these are the stories that make me think abortion is sometimes the least painful way for the would be child. Chat Icon

to think of the terror that child faced as he slowly overheated to death.

overheated to death.

I can't wrap my head around it. at all.

I know - I tortured myself for the rest of the afternoon with that.

Whenever I park the car anywhere, Cailen sits and waits so patiently for me to come around and get him. The complete trust that he has in his mommy is so pure, and so fragile. I can't even start to think what he would go through alone and overheating in a car wondering where mommy is and when she will come and get him. Horrible. Awful. i can't read these things anymore without picturing my baby's face....

In the family of eight, Rimer said the older brother usually watches out for the younger ones.

“He generally will tell us anything that's wrong. I trusted that he saw all them. And it never crossed my mind we had one dying in the car,” Rimer said.

This right here totally has me fuming!Chat Icon
It is NOT the older brother's responsibility! YOU are the father!

He sounds like an azz! 17 hours, heck even 2 mins. going unnoticed is NOT acceptable!

Now I feel bad for the older brother, whom I'm sure is blaming himself for his brother's death. Chat Icon

I want to throw up right now!

What a disgusting man, neglecting your mentally disabled 4 year old to the point where he died and then blame your older son.

What kind of parent is that? How do you overlook a child? I used to work for an adolescent psychiatric residential treatment facility and I was responsible for 14 teenage boys. If one was not with the group I noticed immediately!!!

Where is the mother while all this is going on?!?!?!

That poor baby, I'm getting upset thinking about this.

I do not in a million years believe this was intentional. But without question, the parents should be held responsible. 17 hours?

and this comment alone in reference to their oldest son:

"He generally will tell us anything that's wrong. I trusted that he saw all them. And it never crossed my mind we had one dying in the car,” Rimer said.

In a million years, you do not blame your oldest child. You are soley responsible- and if you can't handle 8 children, don't have them.
