My son doesnt like the car ( or walks)

all that much.

Is he the only one?

I always hear, take him for a ride.

When He is upset it doesnt work, it is worse for me b/c now Im stuck in the car with him screaming and cant hold him, walk, rock him etc. So Im SOOO scared to even try half the time, since only about 50% of the time does he calm down in the car.

Same goes for walks.

He will be ok for half of it and then freak and the walk "home" is him yelling .

So I feel kinda "stuck" in the house lately.

My Noah was like this when he was a tiny baby, he hated the car seat, he cried when we went for a walk, but we walked anyway...otherwise I would have been housebound. I would get a sling, he probably wants to be held....

My DD used to hate the car and stroller also. The only time the car was effective was when it was dark out. There is hope though b/c she did outgrow that stage. There are still days that she doesn't want to be in the car or the stroller but she doesn't scream bloody murder like she used to!!!
