Does it bother you when people park in front of your house?

I ask because I don't mind SO much, and we live on a small block, only 4 houses and there are renters too.

We all have our "designated" spots and make sure to pull our cars up so we can all fit.

I only get mad when strangers park in front of my house and take both spots. But what can you do? People have no courtesy.....

So the tenant across the street calls my house twice asking if we know the owner of the grey VW parked in "his" spot....it was my friends.......who the hell is he to call me to have my friends move? You don't even own the HOUSE!!!!!!

YES! Our next door neighbor would have two cars worth of company EVERY WEEKEND and those cars (they were the same ons all the time) would never park in front of their house but always ours. I came thiiiiisssss close to turning on the sprinklers last summer when I noticied they all had their window's open.
It would have been illegal though as it wasn't my assigned watering day so I just didn't want to bother.

It doesn't bother my but it's one of my husbands biggest pet peeves when someone, especially the neighbors, park in front of our house

I would never say anything but..... The people next door rent. Renter owns a big truck parks in front of my house.. THERE IS NEVER ANYONE IN FRONT OF THEIR HOUSE!!!!!!!!!

Then the people across the street (but diagnol from us so the people next to us are direct;y across from them) park behind them and there is NEVER anyone in front of their house.


I had family that lived in Queens and I know what it was like to park down the block and walk but it annoys me still

ABSOLUTELY! There is plenty of room on my street for people to park in front of the house they are visiting. We don't have sidewalks on my side of the street and these people don't seem to have any problem stomping all over my front lawn. If they annoy my enough, I turn on my sprinklers.

Most people around our house park in their driveways so it isn't an issue. However my neighbor across the street lives alone and once my brother parked his van in front of her house and as soon as he left she pulled her car out of her driveway and into the spot. We all just cracked up about it.

i get really mad when people park in front of my house, usually they dont, but when they do i get so annoyed.

I also am mad because the new nieghbors have this hideious white trailer thing sitting in their driveway.

and when they park their truck they park so crooked in their drivewya as well

YES!!!! I hate it!!! Thank goodness we have a car curfew so at night they can't be in the street.

Normally it doesn't bother me! We are the last house in a dead end & have a big enough driveway to fit all our cars in there. There are times though when neighbors have parties & everyone is parked so that I can't back out of my driveway or block part of my driveway. When that happens, I am upset

I live on a dead end. I only get really steamed if our driveway or walk way gets blocked. B/c we are on a dead end people think it is OK to dump their cars in the middle of the road & not even park I love this one. I oftern will go out & yell for them to move the car before DH tows it

My parents neighbor across the street was dating this guy for about 3 years and for some reason for the last 6 months he ALWAYS used to park in front of my parents house when the driveway was open and the 3 spots in front of their house was available. I don't know why he did it and my sister and I have been parking in the 2 spots in front of our house for at least 7 years before that. Finally after about 6 months of him doing his my father said something to him and he then parked in front of his house. It really isn't a big deal and I wouldn't care if his spots were taken, but he could have parked in his driveway or in front of his house, but for some strange reason he parked in front of our house. I think it ****** us off more because he was such trash and everyone on the block hated him (they are not together anymore and he is in jail).

yes...because we dont have curbs on our block, so I grass ends at th eroad, and they park on our grass

its reallllllly irritating when there are a half dozen places to leave the car, but someone ALWAYS (never fails) parks DIRECTLY behind our driveway, making it impossible to get out.

YES!!! The college-age kid across the street who does not go to college, or work, or do much of anything has his friends at his house all day long. They always park in front of our house and never park so that another car could fit behind them, so the next friend parks across our driveway. I couldn't get my car out last weekend.

DH says it's a public street and just to ask nicely for them to move their car. They're not bad kids and are really polite, just thoughtless.

Yes, it bothers me cause my neighbor is a b itch, and like to park her both cars on our side sometimes, so I park my car right in back of hers till she moves it--lol

Where we live there is never any parking, so it is every man for himself. We have 4 cars and one spot in front of our house, so we alwasy part in front of other people's houses, especially if they have a garage, or more than one spot. We park where there is parking.

I should mention that in my neighborhood, you GUARD the spot in front of your house AT ALL COSTS. We play musical cars so that one of our cars is always in front of our house... There is no way we are giving that up, and most other people with multiple cars do that as well.

It's never been an issue where I've lived but, it annoys me when people park in front of ILs house. They like to park smack dab in the middle blocking their walkway and it's just a pain to walk around the car on the lawn (especially when there's a foot of snow on the ground).

A friend of ours father gets really upset about it. He parks an old car out front of his house so nobody will park there!!!

we rent and we have our "spots." but sometimes during the weekend we lose those spots. not a big deal, we just park on the dead end.

when i was at home, i hated that we got so many cars in front of the house from the restaurant up the street. so frustrating.

Must be a nice part of Queens if you only have to walk down the blokc in my nieghborhood you have to circle the block 10 times and posisbly get a spot around the corner.

And we have a aprty driveway, so we don't even have the option of parking it there. You cna literally drive around for hours looking for a spot. it's like manhattan!
