Does anyone have an ipod touch?
How big are they? Are they the size that the old ipod minis used to be? They are soooo $$$$$$ though. DH is getting his PhD this May and I want to get him an ipod, but I may go with a nano since it is more in my price range. But I'm just curious about the touch. Is it really cool?

The Iphone is the same size ( Not sure if you have seen one yet). They are really cool. I want to get one.

Do you think it is worth it to get just the 8GB one? Because that really is the only one I would be able to afford. Is that a waste?

Dh and I bought them for eachother for christmas gifts last year--- we LOVE them!!! There are so many (free) updates w/ extra features since we've gotten them. Def. worth the investment if you think it's something he'll really use. Def. get a case though if you're going to invest in it- I had gotten DH a soft case but more than once he's dropped it so now i've gotten him a hard case and it's much better.

while the touch of the screen is cool its more eye candy selecting songs etc...
I have both iPhone and tradtional iPod and the navigateing useing the job wheel is all good.
if you can swing the touch, go for it. You can go for the smaller one as it holds plenty of space. The new nanos are really sweet too
