IPOD Touch...anyone have one or know anything about them?
I'm thinking about getting this for my boyfriend for Christmas. I'm on the Apple site but it doesn't really explain to much about it.
It says you can download from ITunes...can you download from Limewire also?
As far as the web...can you go to any and every site there is...same as a computer or is it limited?
It says you can watch TV and movies...is that limited also? Can you download any movie you want? Do you have to sign up for an extra service to use this?

Yes, you can download from Limewire and you can visit any website.
The TV/movies - same as you would do for your IPOD video - from itunes or other internet sites. You pay as you download them.

I was debating getting the Touch, but wound up with the iPod Classic instead - I think the Touch's memory is kind of low for downloading movies and tv on!
The classic iPod has 80 or 160 GB, while the touch has 8 or 16! The classic has 10x's the memory for a cheaper price!
I downloaded tv shows and the screen is large enough for me!

I just noticed the difference in GB's between the touch and classic. I'm going to go with the classic. Where do you go to download movies?

I agree, not enough memory. Get the IPod classic.

i have the iPod Touch--it is really great---but if you want a lot of memory than i'd go with the classic. i don't need to have like 10K songs on my ipod--i usually average about 500-800 at a time and the touch can take up to about 1850.
the Wi-Fi on the touch is pretty cool and the video quality is amazing. its a great gadget---but if you really just want to use the ipod for lots of music & video only---the classic is a good way to go.

I love the Ipod Touch. It is amazing the things that you can do with it. My friend has one and he let me play with it on Thanksgiving. Now I want one.
