Does anyone else NOT like fireworks?
I guess I can appreciate them on TV BUT in person I am terrified of them...anyone else??

we got a perfect spoot in front of the house. dh doeosnt want to move the car since we got a great spot. thank god the laundromat is a few blocks away. i'll just go there with the shopping cart.

We just went to see some at Eisenhower Park tonight. They were loud so I could see how they could be scary. DH loves to see them live but I am content w/ tv.

I love watching them from far away. I live in Queens and from the roof we can see the entire macys show clear as day. But the years my parents would take me down to the river or the park..I would freak out! I hated the noise and I always thought the sparks would land on me and burn me. LOL

Im not that fond of them. I like them from a distance. I find them to be very dangerous and i dont like the loud noise either.

I'm afraid of fire AND loud noises! As a child, I spent july 4th crying in the house. Now, I don't mind fireworks shows, but I hate when people set them off in the streets or on the beach right near me. I get so scared!

OMG-were they not beautiful??!! I LOVE fireworks, especially the titaniums at the end-the more the better!!!!!

WE were at Eisenhower tonight & my poor son was in hysterics crying. The noise scared the bejesus out of him. He sat inthe car w/ his hands convering his ears.

Oh yeah I am scared of them too - I really don't enjoy the booming noise and when they are fairly close to me I freak out.

I love watching it done professionally, but I hate when people set them off at all hours of the night. I especially hate M-80's  I never understood the point of it.

I like professional presentations but hate when people shoot them off in the street. And since it's legal to buy them in Connecticut (I was in Stew Leonards the other day and nearly when I saw the size of their display) kids in my neighborhood seem to have them in abundance, even though it's illegal to bring them across the state line back here to Putnam County.
