Do your parents/IL's celebrate your anniversary?
We just celebrated our 3rd anniversary.
My mom always sends a card and a gift, so does one of my cousins who did a reading at my wedding.
MIL gave us a very generous gift for our 1st anniversary.

My parents did and now that my mom is gone, my dad still does. ILs never did until last year. Let's see what happens this year.

we got a check and cards from both parents and DH's brother for our 1 yr. not from anyone else though

I think we actually got a gift (check) from inlaws on our anniversary. My parents didn't get us a card. My mom may have, I forget. But my dad didn't. He's not a card person.
And honestly, I don't expect anyone but us to acknowledge our anniversary. I really don't care when our friends or parents have their anniversaries. Mine are remarried, and his are unhappily married... so why bother?

Yes - they each usually buy us a gift and we have dinner together. We celbrate their anniversaries as well.

I'll find out for sure come November however my family will probably give us at least a card. As for his family, considering the darlings didn't even acknowledge the wedding, chances we wont be hitting the jackpot come November 11th.

My mother has sent a card for every single anniversary we have had.....we are not married a year yet...we were married 7/16 so every 16th of every month she sends us a card! I love my mom

well, we will see after July 1st, however, I know my parents are giving a gift because they told me to make a reservation at this $$$ in Vegas that we wanted to go to- and said they would pay for it for us, plus they are buying our storm door for our house and paying for installation- I am sure they will give us a card too-
Dhs parents- probably will not do anything at all...
