It's a mythical character from my childhood, so I"m encouraging it as long as it's socially acceptable. Right now, we're bordering on the age of it not being socially acceptable.

I'm just wondering, for those that are doing a more faith-based, non-bunny related Easter, do you plan to skip Santa too?

We do Santa. I grew up with Santa, he makes more sense to me. It is the day Jesus was born so we celebrate our family by exchanging gifts. There is the basis of St Nicholas as well.

Easter bunny, I never knew about him -- I don't even remember hearing about him from my friends (although I am sure they all got baskets!) and I don't understand the connection to the resurrection. I would never tell my DC that the Easter Bunny isn't real! I have nothing against him Chat Icon I just am not going to do the whole story about it.
