So since the large majority of us put younger, did you ever think that maybe people's perceptions of what a certain age person should look like are just wrong?
Hmm, food for thought.
I definitely think the perception of what 30 looks like is not on target with what 30 ACTUALLY looks like.
Isn't it the new 20?

Younger I hear it all the time and my husband looks even younger then me!! When we go to the store together and we buy lotto tickets or scratch offs we get carded!! I hate it!! But then the flip side is when I'm 40 I will look like I am 30 so that is good i guess

I presume I look younger because virtually every time I go to court, I'm stopped by a clerk and asked to show ID, and when I do, they look at me and say, "you're an attorney???!"... it's a nice compliment, but at the same time, I know it's holding me back in my career 
know exactly how you feel. Before I got to know everyone they always asked me if I was interning~! Hello!

I also think sometimes it's about what people think/don't think you have accomplished.
I quit my management job, took a year off and decided to temp for a year. When I tell people what I do, or at my temp jobs, they naturally assume I'm much younger that I am. I guess they think someone at my age would be more successful careerwise. I don't tell them my history, where I've been, what I've done...not their business.
I'm a VERY VERY VERY VERY young 37...ok, I'm just 37 (but I swear, I don't look a day over 29 )
