Do you like your married name better than your maiden name or is it hyphenated?

I like my married name better because it flows nicer with my first name.

i like my maiden name MUCH better... thats why i haven't chaged it after over 2 years of being married

I miss my married name since NO ONE misspelled or mispronouced it. But I like the married name since it is more unique and I don't have any more problems with credit due to similar names

I went from an Irish last name to an Italian last name and while I do miss my maiden name I really do like my married name

I dropped my middle name and made my maiden name my middle name

I like both, but realllly miss my old last name--it was Irish, like my first name, Erin. Erin really doesn't flow with an Italian last name!

I went from 1 irish name to another irish name. My maiden name was most of the time pronouced correctly but my married name, for some reason or another everyone who calls for me has a hard time pronouncing it. It;s really not that hard. Both names are okay i guess

I never liked my maiden name...it raised too many stupid questions and I spent the first ~30 years of my life explaining my family history to people. I like my married name better.

There was a playboy playmate with my married name.

I went from a jewish last name to a spanish one. I love my married name!

I'm not sure if I like it "better", but I do love it!!!! Tho it is easier to spell and pronounce for most people.

I DID change my name, but my maiden name sounded SO much better. It was also a heck of a lot easier to pronounce.

We were out on Saturday night with a good friend of mine and her friend. She asked me what my maiden name was and what my married name was. When I told her what my last name is now and what it used to be, she looked at my husband and said, "That's love!"

i looove my married name, not because it flows better, but just because it sounds nicer. (it's italian, my maiden name is german, and harsher sounding).

I think my married name sounds better wtih my name. Plus it is a lot shorter!!!

Maiden name.... hands down. No one can spell it or pronounce it correctly. It is so fustrating and such an easy name to say and spell!

I like my married name more than my maiden name. I had an an italian name & now have a shorter Maltese name. If my daughrt were still young I would have kept my name somehow but since she was 21 I changed it with no problem plus never liked having an italian name that others always screwed up

eta: I also was only a 1/4 italian (mostly irish)

I love my maiden name. I haven't changed it profesionally and probably never will. I still have random stuff in my name though, and it's hyphenated on my passport. I had issues the first couple of years...

I like them both. My married name is English sounding and my maiden name is totally Italian.

I havne't changed my name officially yet because I am lazy and moving so I figure I will do everything at once but professionally I go by my married name.

I am Danielle, and my FIL, BIL, nephew, and BIL by marriage to SIL, are all named Dan. There is a Dan in every couple in the family!
