Do YOU ever nap?
Whether your a FTWM, SAHM, PTWM, single parent or married - do you ever nap during the day if you're off?
Maybe you have DH or grandma watch the kids for a few hours or take a quick nap when your kid(s) are?
To answer my own question: I do when I can. Only if I'm really needing one. I find it gives me a nice little boost and I prefer it to sleeping in (when I'm off).
I just was thinking today how naps are such an adult luxury these days!

No never not even when I was home on leave. Also I get really annoyed at DH when I see him dosing off & I am doing chores!

Lately, yes. I work FT and am almost 11 weeks with #2. If I have a chance on the weekend while DD naps, I will nap. I can't get anything done anyway.

Never. DD doesnt nap long enough for me to even lay down and fall asleep.

I sometimes nap with DD on the weekends, but it is because I am pregnant. Before the pregnancy I never needed a nap.
I actually almost felt asleep at my desk just now reading a boring document, lol.

Sometimes...if DS goes down for a nap and i need one yes...but he 3.5 so most days he doesnt nap

I never did when DD was young. Now she is 6.5 and I feel comfortable nodding out for a few minutes on the couch late in the day if I need it. It doesnt happen often.

Yes...Almost every morning after DS gets up. Which is anywhere between 7-930am. I have him ALL day and night. I work on my computer at night after he goes to bed so I am up really late. I can't function unless I get some extra sleep. It is usually only an hour or so.

Yes on the weekends if I'm just staying at home all day I will sometimes nap when she naps. I WFT and don't sleep nearly enough during the week, so by the weekend I'm a run down mess. Sometimes a half hour nap gives me the energy I need to be a more fun/less cranky mommy and wife.

I'm a SAHM and rarely nap. When DS was younger and was waking up every hour and a half to nurse - and would only take one 1 hour nap if i was lucky, i would always try to nap with him when i could. But now since hes sleeping through the night and napping during the day, i always do chores or more recently trying to workout.

I do now on Saturdays or Sundays when my husband is home to watch the kids...I'm 20 weeks pregnant and exhausted all the time!

Not anymore. When he wasn't STTN or getting up for the day at 5am, I definitely napped when he did. Now, he sleeps until 8am and I don't need the nap.

I'm a big one for naps!! I'd say I nap 2-3 times a week, when my boys are napping.
ETS: It's my own fault- I stay up too late at night, knowing I have to get up for work in the morning!

Yup! I was napper before having DD though. Most of the time, if we don't have to be out early on the weekend, I will go back to sleep when she takes her morning nap around 8:00. I'm a FTWM, so no naps during the week, unless she happens to take a rare evening one and I'm really tired.

ftwm here. tiny tot will be 7months this week. I bf so on the weekends I nurse her in my bed. I'll take a nice nap with her. 1-2 hours.

Yes. I nap on weekends. My little guy has been waking at night and if he doesnt, the older one does. My little guy goes to bed before 8 but the older one stays up later. The little guy usually gets up early so it leaves me only a small window for sleep each night.
