I taught DS that he has to stay in his room until the first number on his clock is 7. Most days it works!
Same here. It has been a God Send on those pesky time changes too.

We have that bunny clock & in the beginning she yelled, "mommy the bunny says I can't get up yet...but can I see you?"
It did work for a little bit; but then she was back to her 630 waking time.

my mom taught my brother with a light on a timer. When the light went on, he could get outta bed.
it worked with a rewards system. he got a cookie for dessert or chocolate milk with breakfast every day he did it.

It gets him up on weekdays and makes him sleep on weekends.

We taught Lucas how to turn the TV on 
Now I can hear him open his door, go to the bathroom and then I hear his little feet run to the playroom. We even taught him to press 1-2-3 for noggin

Ang thats great... funny bc Madison does that plus get the pre-made drinks for her and Emma in the fridge and they sit for 30 min. and whisper so they don't wake me!! lol even though i hear them its cute and let them think they are grown up!!

OMG - I need to work on this
Today Jack woke up at 5:14 and I almost started to cry because I thought it was for the day, but luckily I talked him into getting back into bed to play with his toys. He ended up sleeping till 7:15 when Tyler busted open his door
