Denim and Diamonds attire at a party?
I'm invited to a party with a dress code of Denim and Diamonds. Its at a very high scale place in Greenwich. What does one wear? I've never heard of this....

The first thing that comes to mind is skinny jeans or straight leg jeans with heals and some sort of fun dressy top and sparkly accessories.

A premium pair of dark rinse trouser jeans m great heels, with a sparkly top and your diamonds. The more, and bigger the bling the better. So earrings, necklace, bracelet and rings. If you have a sparkly hair clip all the better.
I have also seen it go the other way with super old school levi's and funny shirts but I think they likely mean the first outfit I described.

I know, I have my e-ring & diamond studs I just inherited, but that's it. I think it is kind of an obnoxious theme. I'd probably go with some fake yet sparkly necklaces, but I only own one pair of jeans with out paint on them, and they aren't "premuim" are all that dark, so I guess I'd be SOL too.!

That is fine. Just get some good fake diamonds and you will be fine. Have a wonderful time.

Dark, dark denim in either a skinny leg or trouser, with heels, and a sequin top in either an ivory, white, or silver. If you wear a solid top in those colors I would jazz it up with some super-blingy jewelry
