Dear NYC Tourists
I know, I know...it's the Big Apple, The City That Never Sleeps, TIMES SQUARE!!!! But if you don't get the fluck outta my way, I will be late to my meeting and then you will truly see the b!tchy New Yorkers you hear SO much about. WALK dammit and don't stop in the middle of the sidewalk with your WHOLE family to look up at the pretty sky!
Sincerely yours, a disgruntled Time Square office dweller
PS...The Naked Cowboy will not bite (unless you ask/pay him too) WALK to him and don't stare from across the street--YOU'RE IN MY WAY!

Re: Dear NYC Tourists
I particularly like them blocking the sidewalk with their luggage as they look up at the buildings. Have they never seen a marquee before?

OMG I was thinking this same thing yesterday as I was walking to the train!!! May I also add the families that all hold hands while walking down the sidewalk? Like all 6 of them forming an inpassable wall??

Re: Dear NYC Tourists
story of my effing life. i cant help it, im a fast walker with places to be.. and i always end up (9 times outta 10) yelling/being a bytch to tourists.
unfortunatly were getting them here now as well.
the sidewalks are narrow. WHY are you and your whole fmaily just standing in the middle with your strollers and stuff just TALKING and hanging out??!!? its a WALKWAY

Re: Dear NYC Tourists
OMG they drive me NUTS! it's not as bad as times square but i used to work across the street from the Statue of Liberty and they always used to get in my way in the morning in Starbucks when I was in a rush. I used to want to just yell, it's the SAME menu as your Starbucks in Minnesota so just freakin order already

Re: Dear NYC Tourists
I had to bump this again since its one of my biggest pet peeves!!!! My BIL and I proposed "tourist hours". They must stay inside of their hotels during rush hour when us working folk are on our way to WORK!

My sentiments exactly. People take pictures of a train pulling into the station? What have you never seen a train before?

Re: Dear NYC Tourists
well, in the tourists' defense, NYC is something to see! especially if you've never been here before. things that we take for granted are very interesting to others.
