I'm pretty sure I claimed 1 when I stated my job. I think my DH either claims 0 or 1. We have 1 DS. We get a refund.

we have one child. DH claims single 0 and I believe i do married 1, tax at the single rate.
you can go to www.paycheckcity.com to do all sorts of tax calculations to see how it will affect your paychecks.

I claim single 0. I like getting the huge refund because we suck at saving as the year goes. I get that the govt has my money for me during the year but this is just what works for me.
