Can I vent for a moment???
Sorry but I just need to vent for a minute. My Dd has been have temper tantrums lately, I guess it the beginning of the terrible 2’s. But who knows. But if I hear one more time to try and prevent the tantrums or to pick my battles I might just scream. What am I suppose to just not brush my DD teeth, she doesn’t like her teeth brushed whether if she does it or if I do it. She also hates being buckled in her car seat, so am I just not suppose to not buckle her. So to people who don’t have children please don’t tell me to pick my battles or to try and prevent them, when they are things that HAVE to be done.

Re: Can I vent for a moment???
i hear you!! the car seat thing is the worse. when they arch their back and tighten their legs. i literally have to bend DS when he gets like that to get him in. as long as he's strapped i just let him scream.
feel better and it will get better!

Re: Can I vent for a moment???
Both DC used to scream when I brushed their teeth. I would tell them "Fine, scream all you want, it just makes it easier for me with your mouth wide open like that..... "
Their screaming slowed down a little after that. (Not completely, but it did abate)
