I gave DS a blanket when he turned 2, but he kept kicking it off. so we bought him the toddler sleep sack which is great, but he still has his blanket. Ithink by 2 it's fine!

I started when they were around 20 months. The blankets never stay on them, but I never find them over their heads or anything.

Thanks for all of your replies! DD loved the idea of bringing a blanket into bed, and she kept asking me to "tuck her in." So cute!!!
