baby is measuring big...what size coming home outfit?!

I originally picked out a cute little NB size outfit to bring our Chat Icon home in, but now that she is measuring 7.13 at 36 weeks I don't know what to pack for her! I got lots of clothes at my shower, but mostly onesies, sundresses, and sleepers. Should I get a 0-3 mth outfit in case?

Obviously it's WAY too early for me to know how big our baby will be....

but, DH is 6'3" and I am 5'8".... so our Crouton is destined to be tall... just based on that, I am bypassing the newborn stuff and going straight to 0-3 mo.... I figure, it may be big for a week or 2, but those weeks will pass quickly, and we'll frankly be too tired to care or notice Chat Icon

My daughter was 8 13 and I brought her home in 0-3 month outfit that was ridiculously huge on her. She was able to wear some NB stuff for a little while. Also if the outfit is Carters you are safe too as their stuff seems to run a little big or roomy.

my dd was measuring 8lb 3oz at 37w2d. I had her exsctly 12 days later and she weighed 9lb8oz

I brought her home in a 0-3 sleeper and it was HUGE on her but I think the NB would have been too small

So I say 0-3 months Chat Icon

I would buy a 0-3 month and bring both outfits and put on the one that fits her the best.

my baby is measuring 7lbs at 36 weeks too. i also bought a NB outfit. I'm going to bring that outfit and if she comes out too big then i will send my mom or DH to the house for a 0-3 outfit. A lot of times those sonograms are wrong so i would just bring what you had planned.

I was told that DD was measuring big too. She was born 8lbs, 10oz and she fit in NB at first. We brought a winter coat-thing to bring her home and it was HUGE on her. I think that was like 0-3

I would do the same. DS was 8lbs at birth and he worn NB for a few weeks. DD was 8.13lbs and she came home in a NB outfit aswell that fit her a perfectly and she still wore it a few more times after that.

I brought two different outfits in two different sizes, because I just didn't know.

Re: baby is measuring big...what size coming home outfit?!

DS was 9lb 14 oz 22.5 inches at birth and wore a 0-3 month outfit. It was alittle big but nothing too major.

Even at his size he was able to wear NB clothes the first 2 weeks of his life. So I wouldnt worry.
