I have to agree with Southwest on this one. If the kids were being disruptive and not listening to the flight attendants then they are going to have issues. I have control over my 3 on the planes. And the 10 year old having autism seemed perfectly fine just sitting there during the video

I agree with you. What do parents of "unruly children" expect? if you can't follow the rules, you can't fly. they have some nerve to complain while endangering the lives of everyone on that plane.
obviously SW thought it was a big enough deal to have the cops waiting for them at the gate. I personally think it’s about time airlines stood up to these parents.

This story seems a lot different than the American Airlines one. My Dad just started a business that I hope will make a big difference in air travel for special needs kids. I'm really proud of it!

Yes im going to H E double hockey sticks BUT 
Anyway.... on to the story. I have a cousin with Autism. I understand they are difficult. This mother ADMITS her children were unruly getting up and not listening. She didn't say anything about her son with Autism. All she said was the children were excited. You should be able to control them. If they don't listen to her they aren't going to listen to flight crew in an emergency,

Yeah, it definitely looks like a cigarette to me. 
Good for southwest for kicking them off if they were being so unruly and presenting a danger to the flight. I love how they are already talking about "compensation" and that it was the most horrible experience of their lives.

why is this news? it has nothing to do with the fact that the child has autism. it has to do with a mother who can't control her own children and ADMITS it. the child with autism actually looked the calmest of the bunch. and what in the world does having CP have to do with being unruly??? that is just a disgrace. this mother needs to stop using excuses and admit the truth--that she is one hot mess.
if you are out of control and running around on a flight, you don't deserve to be there. period. the austism and CP diagnoses aren't the real root of this problem
