ADT door to door sales
My Mom just called me and said an ADT salesman came to her door and they are considering using him. This sounds really suspicious to me, especially since they invited him in, showed him around for a quote and now this guy knows they will be going on vacation soon.
My parents are usually suspcious and not vulnerable, so it surprises me they gave him all this info. She said that he had "lots of paperwork" and ADT ID, but no business card.
Does this sound legit or suspicious to you?
We are supposed to stay at their home while they are away so now I am even more nervous.

They probably do have reps that go door to door. However it is a little weird he didnt have a business card, did he leave any office number, to get in contact with him? If so try calling it to make sure its legit, also you can try calling the regular adt line and ask if they have someone by that name working for them.
