So last night, my mother gets a knock at the door at 7
she sees a guy's head and thinks it is a florist, so she opens the door, and guy asks if she is Coleen O, she says yes, and he gives her a summons...so she is in shock and asks what this is for, she reads and sees that it is work related. So she tries to explain to the guy that this is not for her, he ignores her and walks away. My mother is a nurse at the hospital, but so is my cousin, Coleen O and my aunt Coleen O.
It is definitely for my cousin who works in OB, it is baby related.
Is there anyone to call to have this mistake changed? She could give it to my cousin, but the address on file would still be my mothers...TIA

why doesn't your mother call the court or the agency that issued the summons and explain the situtation?

Your mom can call the attorney who served the summons and tell them they served the wrong person.
