A Year ago today (w/ Pics)...Happy Birthday
A year ago today I never knew how much our lives would be changed by a 7lb. 14 oz. beautiful baby girl with blue eyes. You came into the world today and the love we have for you grows each day.
No longer are you a crying, little baby eating every two hours and lying in your crib helplessly; now you point at everything, crawl around at lightning speed and cruise around the entire house holding on to various pieces of furniture. You brighten up the room wherever you are with your infectious giggle and bright, blue eyes. You are the happiest baby.
Mommy and Daddy cannot believe how much you’ve grown. No longer are you our tiny baby that fits in our one arm effortlessly. You are now over 30 inches tall and 23 lbs and have 5 teeth & more times than not too squirmy to hold onto.
You have such a personality! You know exactly what you want and let us know you’re not happy when you don’t get it. You love Ruff Ruff and Elmo and have really bonded with mommy since she’s been home from school. You shake your little finger when we tell you “NO.” You are such a wonderful eater, loving anything we put in front of you. You are so curious about everything around you and love seeing how things work. You also love grabbing something and holding on to it as you crawl around the house.
So today on your first birthday we want you to know how much you are loved and how much joy you’ve brought into our lives. All we have to do is look at you and you make us smile.
As mommy says to you every night….I love you more than all the stars in the sky and love you more than all the fish in all the oceans.
