1st IVF failed
I found out on Friday that my 1st attempt at IVF failed. I am completely heartbroken.
We did the NYS grant since our insurance doesn't cover anything related to infertility. We still shelled out a lot of money out of pocket...
It has been a total emotional rollercoaster. I feel a bit better today but I'm still devastated that this may not work for us. We plan to try again but I'm not sure when, I guess as soon as possible. Everything was just fine with the transfer (3 day)...3 very good quality 8 celled embies and none of them stuck. I go to Columbia in the city and I'm thinking of switching to NYU. We've had 4 failed IUIs and now 1 failed IVF. Our only issue is minor male factor and we did ICSI and assisted hatching

I am so sorry It is not an easy road...since you are only dealing with MF it should work on your next time...MF IVF has the best outcomes...

ps..I would recommend Cornell in NYC as they have the best MF lab and MF results!

Im sorry for you....it will happen! jsut try adn stay positive.
HAve you looked into Cornell (UES)? thats where I go and not that im at that stage yet to say one way or another, but i am SO happy and comfortable there. FM me if you would like to know more.

I'm so sorry...my BF had one failed IVF at Cornell but she did get pregnant with an FET right after that. They have severe MF and did ICSI. I wish you all the best...

I know it stinks, this is all so hard to take in. But from all the stories I hear a lot of people don't get pregnant the 1st time around. Hang in there, keep positive, you might have better luck next time!

I'm so sorry. The worst part must be having hardly any answers as to WHY it didnt work, thats so difficult to cope with.

I'm so sorry...but I am proof that it eventually can work.
It took me 9 transfers, transferring up to six at a time to get a BFP.
